Fermenti Wine & Food is one of the most eagerly anticipated events of the Salento summer, where passion for wine and gastronomy converge in the enchanting historic courtyards of Diso's town center. Now in its fourth edition, the festival promises two unforgettable days of discovery and pleasure, set in a magical atmosphere that celebrates the cultural and gastronomic heritage of the region. On July 18 and 19, you'll have the chance to taste wines from over 40 Puglian wineries, from established names to hidden gems of regional viticulture. A new highlight this year is a curated selection of wines from other Italian regions, enriching the offering and inviting visitors on a true enological journey through Italy. From the fresh sparkling wines of the north to the bold reds of the south, each glass tells stories of tradition and innovation, of terroir and passion. Completing the experience, appetizing food stations will feature the finest dishes of local cuisine: smoked caciocavallo cheese, fresh burrata, salentine pasticciotto pastries, orecchiette with ragù, bombette alla lecchese, and the freshest seafood preparations. Live music will create the perfect atmosphere for tasting, conversing, and celebrating the Italian art of living together. An unmissable event for wine lovers, authentic flavors, and the beauty of Salento—whether it's your first visit or your summer ritual.
