Olio Val di Mazara

Olio Val di Mazara DOP is an extra virgin olive oil produced in western Sicily, in an area characterized by an ideal Mediterranean climate for olive cultivation. The protected designation of origin safeguards a product obtained from olives harvested and milled according to rigorous regulations, ensuring the quality and authenticity of the oil.

This extra virgin oil presents a color ranging from straw yellow to deep green, depending on the harvest time. On the palate, it displays a complex aromatic profile, with characteristic notes of grass, almond, and sometimes tree nuts, with a slightly bitter and peppery finish typical of fine extra virgin oils. The consistency is fluid and elegant, with a texture that reflects the freshness of freshly pressed oil.

In the kitchen, Olio Val di Mazara is excellent served raw over legume soups, grilled vegetables, white fish, and cheeses; it is also ideal for dressing salads and tomato-based dishes. Its versatility makes it appreciated both in traditional Sicilian cuisine and in contemporary cooking, as an excellent foundation for enhancing simple, quality ingredients.
