Pomodoro di Pachino

Pomodoro di Pachino IGP is the world's most famous cherry tomato, cultivated in the southeastern tip of Sicily. The unique microclimate of Pachino, with over 300 days of sunshine per year, sandy-clayey soil, and brackish water, gives these cherry tomatoes an exceptionally sweet and concentrated flavor.

The main varieties are the Ciliegino (small and round) and the Costoluto (larger and ribbed). Harvesting takes place year-round thanks to greenhouses and the mild climate.

It is the irreplaceable ingredient in Sicilian salad, pasta with sardines, bruschetta, and countless other dishes. The name "Pachino" has become synonymous with quality cherry tomatoes throughout the world.
