The 29th edition of the Sagra della Salsiccia di Santa Ninfa returns on August 8-9, 2026 to celebrate one of Sicily's most authentic culinary traditions. Two evenings dedicated to genuine flavors, where locally-made sausage, handcrafted for over a century, takes center stage at an event that blends gastronomy, music, and culture. From 7 PM onwards, exhibition stands will come alive with visitors eager to discover the aromatic varieties crafted from local ingredients: wild fennel from the Belice Valley, sun-dried tomatoes, and salt from the Trapani salt pans. The festival offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in Santa Ninfa's festive atmosphere, where local butchers will prepare their specialties right before your eyes. Beyond tastings, entertainment is guaranteed by local musical groups and street performers enlivening the village streets. Organized by the Municipality with the patronage of the Belice Municipalities Union, this festival is the result of collaboration between local institutions and merchants—a collective effort to promote a product protected by a dedicated Consortium since 1996.
