Natale nel Parco (Christmas in the Park)

In the recreational park of Rasun di Sotto, a hamlet in the municipality of Rasun-Anterselva, the beloved 'Natale nel Parco' (Weihnachten im Park) returns. Nestled at the foot of the Rieserferner-Ahrn Nature Park mountains, this market offers an intimate, authentic atmosphere far from mass tourism. Among the illuminated wooden stalls, visitors can discover local handicrafts, knitwear, felt creations, unique handmade gift ideas, as well as honey and regional herbs. The food selection invites guests to savor traditional South Tyrolean recipes such as 'tirtlan' pastries, apple strudel, roasted chestnuts, aromatic mulled wine, and warm punch. The festivities are enriched by an array of activities, including concerts by brass bands and local choirs, guided torchlight walks, a visit from Saint Nicholas, and the traditional Krampus parade featuring hand-carved wooden masks.
