Trenatale del Renon – Authentic and Traditional Christmas Market

The Trenatale del Renon (Rittner Christbahnl) is the traditional Christmas market gracing the Renon high plateau, offering an intimate, cozy atmosphere far from the urban hustle and bustle. The distinctive wooden stalls, crafted in the shape of historic Renon railway train cars, are set up in the station square in Soprabolzano and the village center of Collalbo, both connected by the scenic narrow-gauge railway. During market days, visitors can browse quality local handicrafts and savor South Tyrolean holiday food and wine specialties, including pandolce, hot punch, and mulled wine. The festive spirit is further enriched by an entertainment program featuring performances by choirs, holiday musical ensembles, and activities dedicated to children.
