Chianti Classico

Chianti Classico is one of the most representative red wines of Italian winemaking tradition, produced in the historic Chianti region of Tuscany. Made primarily from Sangiovese grapes, this DOCG wine represents the oenological excellence of the region, where the combination of characteristic terroir and winemaking techniques perfected over time has created a product of recognized prestige.

In the glass, Chianti Classico presents itself with a ruby red color, sometimes with garnet reflections as it ages. The aromatic profile is complex, with notes of red fruit, spices, and characteristic earthy characteristics. On the palate it is dry, with well-defined tannic structure and good acidity, which makes it particularly versatile for food pairing.

This wine pairs naturally with traditional Tuscan cuisine: from dishes based on red meat to hearty soups, from aged cheeses to braised pasta dishes. Its ability to evolve over time makes it appreciated both in younger, fresher versions and in tastings after several years of aging, during which it develops further aromatic complexity.
