The Sagra de u Cecu Maritu returns to Aguzzo, a hamlet of Stroncone in the province of Terni, for an exciting new edition celebrating Umbrian culinary traditions. From July 24 to August 2, 2026, the Circolo Acli l'Olmo invites you on a gastronomic journey centered around the event's signature dish: a traditional focaccia filled with wild herbs, preserving recipes passed down through generations. Origins and Tradition of Cecu Maritu The Cecu Maritu represents an authentic family recipe, handed down from generation to generation within Umbrian communities. The name itself echoes ancient stories and local anecdotes, while its preparation with wild herbs gathered from the surrounding hills maintains a living connection to the land and nature of Stroncone. Menu and Gastronomic Offerings Beyond the main dish, you'll enjoy: bruschetta with local olive oil, pappardelle with porcini mushrooms, roasted Umbrian meats, traditional cheeses and cured meats, homemade desserts, and carefully selected regional wines.
