Estate Borghigiana

Estate Borghigiana returns to Borgo Cerreto, the picturesque hamlet of Cerreto di Spoleto in Perugia province, to celebrate one of Umbria's most iconic culinary treasures: lamb and sheep meat. From June 26–28, 2026, the village transforms into a festival dedicated to authentic sheep meat specialties, blending tradition, flavor, and community spirit. The menu is a heartfelt tribute to local cuisine, featuring hand-made arrosticini (grilled meat skewers) and succulent sheep meat grills—perfect for those who appreciate genuine, authentic flavors. More elaborate dishes complete the experience: gnocchi in castrato sauce, roasted lamb, and pecorino Umbro cheese specialties representing the heights of Umbrian gastronomy for even the most discerning palates. Yet Estate Borghigiana offers more than just food: from 9:30 PM each evening, lively dance parties with live music and quality entertainment transform the event into a celebration of joy, fun, and community gathering. The village also hosts exhibitions of local craftsmanship and typical Umbrian products, allowing visitors to discover and purchase authentic artisanal creations. Carefully organized by Pro Loco Borgo Cerretto-Ponte, this event welcomes families, friend groups, and anyone eager to experience the charm of Umbrian gastronomic tradition.
