Fontignano a Tavola

The 41st edition of Fontignano a Tavola returns, the most anticipated summer event in the heart of Umbria, where gastronomy, music, and culture unite in a festive and welcoming atmosphere. From July 17-26, 2026, the municipality of Fontignano in the province of Perugia transforms into a showcase of authentic flavors and culinary traditions, where the dining table becomes the center of a collective celebration honoring the region's gastronomic identity. The festival offers a sensory journey through Umbria's most characteristic dishes: from 'mbrecciata to pappardelle, from umbricelli to meat specialties like goose and wild boar, accompanied by torta al testo and traditional desserts such as zuppa inglese and torcolo with vin santo. Each course tells stories of the land and ancient crafts, turning every tasting into a cultural discovery experience. Beyond the dining tables, live entertainment enlivens the evenings with dancing, music, and a convivial atmosphere that involves the entire village.
