The historic Sagra degli Strangozzi e Asparagi returns to Eggi, a hamlet of Spoleto, for its 35th edition. An unmissable appointment for lovers of Umbrian gastronomy, which from April 24 to May 3, 2026 celebrates two undisputed stars of local cuisine: wild asparagus and strangozzi, the fresh pasta typical of Spoleto's culinary tradition. The festival is a perfect opportunity to discover the authentic flavors of the territory and the gastronomic excellences of Umbria.
Every evening, starting at 7:30 PM, the festival tavern opens its doors to delight visitors with dishes prepared using the finest local products. The menu is a celebration of authenticity, with strangozzi taking center stage alongside prized wild asparagus, all enhanced by extra virgin olive oil and local Trebbiano wines. A culinary experience that tells the story and tradition of this Umbrian community.
Beyond gastronomy, the festival offers 360-degree entertainment with a rich program including craft markets, exhibitions and live music evenings. Organized by the Pro Loco "Amici di Eggi" with the patronage of local institutions, the festival represents an authentic celebration where culture, tradition and good food come together.
