Sagra del Cinghiale (Wild Boar Festival)

The Sagra del Cinghiale in Fossato di Vico returns in August with a celebration of authentic and flavourful Umbrian cuisine. From 9 to 12 August 2026, in the heart of the village, food enthusiasts can savour traditional local dishes prepared with prized local wild boar meat. From bruschetta to pappardelle with ragù, from sausages to porchetta, to more creative dishes such as hamburger and fried meatballs: each recipe tells the story and gastronomic roots of the region. The food stands open their doors at 7:30 PM, allowing visitors to taste specialities prepared with care and passion by experienced chefs.
