The 13th edition of the Sagra della Lumaca returns to Moiano, a small and charming hamlet of Città della Pieve in the province of Perugia, from July 2-5, 2026. An established tradition that celebrates one of the most authentic products of Umbrian culinary heritage, transforming four summer evenings into an unmissable occasion for conviviality, fine food, and pure entertainment. The 'A Moiano non solo lumache' Committee has prepared a rich program that combines the pleasure of dining with live entertainment, confirming this festival's role as a regional landmark for those wanting to discover the genuine flavors of Umbria and experience the festive atmosphere that characterizes local traditions. Every evening from 7:30 PM to 11:30 PM, the restaurant doors open to welcome guests around tables laden with local specialties in a warm and authentic setting. Snails are the undisputed stars of the table: from the refined preparation of appetizers (stewed snails prepared according to traditional recipes), through first courses (fresh pasta with snail ragù), to delicious main courses (roasted snails with aromatic herbs), this prized mollusk is showcased in all its culinary versatility. The complete menu also features seasonal side dishes, Tuscan bread, and a selection of Umbrian wines with protected designation of origin.
