The Festa del Pesce Azzurro in Meduna di Livenza is an unmissable event for lovers of traditional Venetian cuisine and authentic seafood flavors. Organized with great dedication by the local Pro Loco volunteers, this festival represents the perfect opportunity to discover the gastronomic treasures of the region, where the simplicity of ingredients is transformed into extraordinary dishes through culinary mastery.

During the sixteen days of celebration (May 10-25, 2026), visitors will be able to indulge in a wide variety of fish specialties: from succulent pasta dishes to crispy fried fish, from fresh seafood salads to sardines prepared in various ways - fried, grilled or in the classic saor preparation - to stewed cuttlefish and marinated anchovies. Each dish will tell the story of Venetian fishing and the culinary tradition that has characterized this land for generations.

The absolute specialty of the festival is baccalà alla vicentina, an iconic dish of regional cuisine that represents the gastronomic excellence of Meduna di Livenza, prepared according to traditional recipes passed down through time.
