Festa del Riso di Porto Tolle (Porto Tolle Rice Festival)

Now in its 16th edition, the Festa del Riso celebrates the prestigious Po Delta PGI Rice in the hamlet of Ca' Tiepolo in Porto Tolle, bringing Piazza Ciceruacchio and Via Giolo to life. Organized by the Municipality and the Pro Loco of Porto Tolle alongside local fair committees and regional bodies, the festival showcases one of the most iconic agri-food treasures of the Polesine tradition. The culinary program kicks off with the Galà del Riso, an opening gala dinner available by reservation and organized in collaboration with Adria's Cipriani-Colombo Higher Education Institute. Throughout the evenings and across the weekend, food stalls serve a rich variety of risottos and traditional Delta land-and-sea specialties, highlighting standout dishes with Scardovari mussels, clams, pumpkin, and sausage. Adding to the culinary festivities are artisan and local product markets, educational workshops for children, an amusement park, live music, and insightful conferences. The experience is rounded out by guided tours across the rice paddies and the Sacca degli Scardovari, culminating in a grand fireworks display.
