Prosecco DOC

Prosecco DOC is the sparkling wine par excellence of the Veneto region, produced in the provinces of Venice and Treviso according to strict controlled designation of origin specifications. Obtained predominantly from Glera grapes, it is crafted using the Charmat method, which involves re-fermentation in steel tanks: this process gives the wine its characteristic soft and persistent effervescence, quite different from classical method sparkling wines.

On the palate, it presents with a luminous straw-yellow colour and a delicate, continuous perlage. The bouquet is fresh and floral, with notes of white fruits and tropical sensations depending on the production techniques. The flavour is well-balanced, with a slight residual sweetness that makes it refreshing and versatile: from thirst-quenching enjoyment to more complex culinary pairings.

Traditionally enjoyed as an aperitif or for toasts, Prosecco DOC pairs beautifully with light dishes, fish-based appetizers, and fresh cheeses. Its accessibility and freshness have made it a sparkling wine appreciated both in Italy and internationally, establishing itself as a star of Veneto viticulture.
