Estate in biblioteca (Summer at the Library)

The 'Estate in biblioteca' festival enlivens the summer season in Valdobbiadene as part of the initiative promoted by the BAM library network municipalities. The event offers a rich calendar of activities tailored for children, teens, and families, making the most of the civic library spaces and the local area. The activity schedule in Valdobbiadene features animated read-aloud sessions for little ones such as 'Il Filò dei bambini', themed creative workshops, board game afternoons, and domino tournaments, alongside the meetings of the 'Valdobook' reading group. Highlights also include the outdoor juggling and contortionism performance 'Popeye & Olive Show' presented by Banjo Circus. Throughout the entire summer, young readers aged 7 to 14 can also join the Summer Reading Mini-Marathon, linked to the regional 'Il Veneto legge' campaign: a reading challenge involving borrowing and reviewing ten books to earn points, a final certificate, and a small prize.
