Sagra dei SS. Pietro e Paolo - Festa del Pescatore

One of the most anticipated events of the Polesine region returns: the Sagra dei Santi Pietro e Paolo, better known as the Festa del Pescatore. From June 25-29, 2026 in Scardovari, a frazione of Porto Tolle, a century-old tradition celebrating the culture and heritage of the Po Delta fishing community comes alive once again. Taking place along Viale della Repubblica, this is an unmissable opportunity to immerse yourself in the authentic atmosphere of this lagoon territory. The festival perfectly balances devotion with gastronomy: traditional religious celebrations and processions are accompanied by extraordinary fish specialties. The gastronomic stand, open every evening from 7 PM, serves iconic Delta dishes including brodetto (traditional fish soup), fried eels, mixed fresh fish grills, and seafood risotto—all prepared according to recipes passed down through generations of local fishing families. A funfair, characteristic market stalls, and live entertainment complete the experience, making it attractive for the whole family.
