Festa dell'Uva e Fiera Agricola - Monteforte d'Alpone (Grape Festival and Agricultural Fair)

From September 10 to 13, 2026, the historic center of Monteforte d'Alpone welcomes the 95th edition of the Festa dell'Uva e Fiera Agricola, a time-honored festival celebrating the region's winemaking heritage and the renowned Garganega grape. The event actively involves the town's eight historic districts: Praja, Rubian, Sarmazza, Sero, Drio Piassa, Madonnina, Costalunga, and Brognoligo. Festivities begin on Thursday at Palazzo Vescovile with a cultural gathering in honor of entomologist Roberto Pace. On Friday, the inclusive 'Ogni Griglia Vale' barbecue initiative takes place alongside the opening of the Pro Loco food stalls in Piazza Salvo d'Acquisto. Saturday afternoon marks the official opening of the Agricultural Fair, featuring the 'I Sapori delle Contrade' food and wine trail, technical conferences, and a traditional cooking contest for handmade 'tajadèla' pasta rolled with a wooden pin. Sunday wraps up the celebrations with local cultural talks, Soave wine tastings, and the signature folkloric parade featuring district floats, vintage tractors, traditional country costumes, and a live marching band.
