Il Natale a Bardolino (Christmas in Bardolino)

The 'Il Natale a Bardolino' festival transforms the historic town center, the lakefront promenade, and Parco Carrara Bottagisio into a picturesque holiday village overlooking the shores of Lake Garda. At the heart of the event is the traditional Christmas market, featuring dozens of wooden chalets offering artisanal crafts, handmade decorations, and local food and wine delicacies. Inside Parco Carrara Bottagisio, visitors will discover a range of attractions, including a covered ice skating rink, a Ferris wheel, Santa's interactive 3D sleigh, and a heated igloo dining area. Young children can enjoy the carousel in Piazza del Porto, while the historic streets and lakeside stroll sparkle with dazzling LED illuminations. Cultural highlights include open historic churches, the 'Presepi dal mondo' nativity exhibition at the Sala della Disciplina, and the enchanting underwater nativity scenes submerged in the waters of the harbor and in Cisano. The festivities are rounded out with live musical performances and a spectacular midnight fireworks display on New Year's Eve.
