L'Asparago e Dintorni

The much-awaited "L'Asparago e Dintorni" festival returns to San Zeno di Cassola, the gastronomic event that celebrates one of Veneto's most prized products. Organized by the Gruppo Amici dei Missionari (G.A.M.), the festival unfolds over ten evenings spanning late April and early May, transforming Piazza San Zeno into an arena of flavors and local traditions. This year, the dates have been carefully spaced to allow everyone to enjoy the culinary treasures on offer.

The gastronomic stands at the festival offer not only asparagus-based dishes but also the finest specialties of Veneto's culinary heritage, prepared with dedication and care by the association's volunteers. Each evening is designed to satisfy even the most discerning palates, with thoughtful tastings and culinary proposals that celebrate the region's authentic flavors. Cassola's white asparagus, a Slow Food presidium, takes center stage in creamy risottos, crispy fried dishes, and innovative preparations that honor tradition.

But "L'Asparago e Dintorni" is much more than a food festival: the event promises to entertain the entire family with convivial aperitivos, live music that fills the squares late into the evening, and numerous activities for children.
