Peschiera del Garda transforms into a living stage of Italian history with a grand historical reenactment dedicated to 1866 and the Fall of the Quadrilateral. From September 25–27, 2026, three intensive days will transport visitors and enthusiasts back to one of the most crucial moments of the Italian Risorgimento, when the Veneto region was the theatre of historical conflicts that would reshape the nation's destiny. The event brings together dozens of reenactment groups from across Europe, who will faithfully recreate military encampments, tactical demonstrations, epic battles, and scenes of daily life from the period. Costumed actors, authentic sailing vessels, and meticulously accurate historical reconstructions will immerse visitors in a genuine and engaging atmosphere, where every detail tells stories of soldiers, women, and civilians who were protagonists of that extraordinary era.
