Tocatì (International Festival of Street Games)

Tocatì, the International Festival of Street Games, transforms Verona's historic center into a vast open-air stage dedicated to rediscovering traditional play. From September 18 to 20, 2026, the city's squares, courtyards, and historic palazzi host this unique celebration, designed to engage children, families, and adults in an exploration of games as intangible cultural heritage. The true stars of the event are traditional games from various Italian regions as well as numerous countries around the globe. Between time-honored community challenges, trials of skill, strategy, and movement, visitors can experience authentic playful pastimes firsthand.
