August in Corropoli transforms into a celebration of Abruzzese culinary traditions with the Food and Wine Festival of Vibratian Typical Dishes. In the heart of the historic town centre, from 8 to 12 August 2026, visitors can immerse themselves in an authentic experience where genuine local flavours meet the festive atmosphere of a community that jealously guards its own recipes. Golden fritters, fried cheese, generous sandwiches with sausage and bacon, roasted corn cobs: each dish tells a story of tradition passed down through generations. The event represents much more than a simple gastronomic celebration—it is a precious opportunity to keep alive the memory of authentic flavours from the Vibratian territory, those that have characterised Abruzzese tables for centuries. Alongside savoury specialities, fried olives complete a rich and varied culinary offering, accompanied by a carefully selected range of local and artisanal beverages including draught beer, bottled wine and craft beers offered by the Pro Loco stand. Every evening the square comes alive with live music and traditional dances, creating a magical atmosphere where the pleasure of the palate unites with entertainment. The event, organised by the Pro Loco of Corropoli with support from the Municipal Administration, is the ideal opportunity to discover an authentic piece of Abruzzo, away from the most beaten tourist routes, where the local community generously shares its traditions with visitors.
