Festa dei Sapori Tramutola

The Festa dei Sapori Tramutola returns for its third edition with the mission to celebrate the authentic gastronomic traditions of a small village in Basilicata. This is more than a simple food tasting—it's an opportunity to rediscover and honor the cultural roots of a community proud of its flavors and Lucanian identity. The festival showcases the most representative dishes of Tramutola's cuisine: the celebrated hand-made cavatelli, the traditional scardedda tramutolese served with genuine local eggs, cured meats and cheeses, and torta ai ceci, a traditional dessert that tells the story and heritage of the territory. Each dish is a narrative of tradition, prepared with carefully selected ingredients that keep the region's culinary memory alive. The Pro Loco brings the day to life from 5 PM onwards, weaving together food, culture, music and entertainment to create an immersive experience celebrating Tramutola's authenticity. A perfect occasion for both visitors and locals to share convivial moments, discover local food and wine excellence, and immerse themselves in the festive atmosphere of a community that transforms its cuisine into a symbol of togetherness.
