Sagra del Riavulillo (Riavulillo Festival)

The Sagra del Riavulillo returns to Arola, a hamlet of Vico Equense, to celebrate one of the most distinctive products of the Sorrento Peninsula. Now in its 29th edition, this summer festival is an unmissable appointment for lovers of Campania gastronomy and local culinary traditions. The undisputed star is riavulillo, a smoked caciocavallo cheese filled with black olives, extra virgin olive oil, and chilli pepper, best enjoyed hot and fresh from the grill, when its aroma and flavour reach their perfect peak. From 2 to 4 August, the three evenings of the festival transform into a true sensory journey through the authentic flavours of the Campania region. Starting from 8:00 PM, visitors can enjoy a gastronomic experience filled with local specialities and artisanal stands, all accompanied by live music that will create a festive and convivial atmosphere. A unique opportunity to discover the enogastronomic excellence of the Sorrento area and be won over by the warm hospitality of the local community.
