'Il Mulino racconta - Cecilia racconta' in the Area Golenale of Ro

At the Area Golenale in Ro, Riva del Po, the cultural gathering 'Il Mulino racconta - CECILIA RACCONTA: Female strength, labor, and daily resistance' takes center stage. This initiative is born from the collaboration between Pro Loco Terre Bacchelliane, the 'Il mondo di Riccardo Bacchelli' association, Cooperativa Atlantide, and UDI Ferrara APS to celebrate local memory while exploring themes of women's empowerment and labor along the riverlands. The event lineup features the theatrical monologue 'Io sono Cecilia, la Mugnaia del Po' (I Am Cecilia, the Miller of the Po), followed by an insightful talk on 'Labor, rights, and women's emancipation' presented by Liviana Zagagnoni of UDI Ferrara APS. The afternoon continues with traditional folk songs performed by the Coro L’Eco del fiume and concludes with a convivial aperitivo open to all attendees.
