The undisputed star of the festival is blue fish, from sardines to other local species, prepared using traditional methods: grilled over fire, fried, or cooked according to the most genuine Ferrarese recipes. Alongside it, the fried pinzino triumphs—a typical sweet treat that embodies the city's gastronomic identity, fragrant and golden, perfect for accompanying fish dishes.
