The Sagra della Fragola of Lagosanto returns in May 2026 with its 31st edition, transforming this small town in the province of Ferrara into the undisputed capital of the sweetest and most fragrant fruit of the season. For ten days (May 8-10 and 12-17), the streets of Lagosanto will come alive with shows, colorful market stalls, and the unmistakable aroma of fresh strawberries, attracting visitors from across Italy eager to discover the heart of Italy's strawberry production.

It is no coincidence that Lagosanto, located just 9 km from the Adriatic Sea, has become the symbol of this fruit: 90% of Italian strawberries are grown here, a distinction that the festival celebrates with pride every year. The event fills the town with a festive atmosphere where tradition, gastronomy, and entertainment converge, offering an authentic experience of the Ferrara territory for both children and adults.
