Taking place July 17-19 and 24-26 at Goro's sports field, this charming Ferrarese village transforms into a seafood lover's paradise, where the renowned local clams—carefully farmed and appreciated worldwide—become the stars of an unforgettable culinary experience. A unique opportunity to taste zero-kilometer seafood, fresh from the waters of the Sacca di Goro. The heart of the festival is an enormous paella pan nearly 3 meters in diameter, a true symbol of generosity and tradition, capable of preparing over 1,200 daily portions of clams cooked according to the most authentic recipes. Twenty local cooperatives work side by side to offer extraordinary dishes: from classic spaghetti alle vongole to strozzapreti alla marinara, from mixed fried seafood to baked sea bass fillet, without forgetting delicious preparations featuring freshly-caught mussels, oysters, and prawns. But the Sagra della Vongola is much more than a food celebration: it's a complete journey into the culture and traditions of the Po Delta.
