Festa del Salame

The Festa del Salame of Sarmato returns for its 58th edition, confirming itself as the longest-running festival in the Piacenza area and an unmissable appointment for lovers of Emilian gastronomy. From May 29 to 31, the Area Feste on Via Moia will transform into a stage of authentic flavors, where the undisputed star will be the local DOP salami, a symbol of the territory's culinary tradition. Organized by ProLoco Sarmato in collaboration with the Municipal Administration, the event offers a rich program that goes beyond simple tastings: alongside DOP salami you will find numerous gastronomic specialties from the region, the perfect opportunity to discover the culinary treasures of Emilia-Romagna. The festival is accompanied by live music that will create a convivial and festive atmosphere for all visitors. The organizers have also thought of entertainment with many events and activities for the whole family. Among these stands out a tombola with interesting prizes, foremost among them an e-bike that will delight the lucky winner. Children can also participate in traditional games, playful food and wine workshops, and educational activities dedicated to discovering the territory and salami production.
