Fiera della Fortanina e della Spalla di San Secondo Parmense (Fortanina Wine and Spalla Cotta Fair)

Now in its 69th edition, the Fiera della Fortanina e della Spalla di San Secondo Parmense celebrates two culinary treasures of the Bassa Parmense area: the renowned hand-carved Spalla Cotta (cooked pork shoulder) and sparkling Fortanina red wine. The historic village center and the square facing the Rocca dei Rossi come alive with food stands, tasting areas, craft markets, comedy shows, live music, and an amusement park. The festival also offers special guided tours of the historic Rocca dei Rossi and the town's key landmarks, wrapping up the festivities with a traditional fireworks display.
