Fiera d'Agosto (August Fair)

The 69th Fiera d'Agosto in San Secondo Parmense returns to celebrate the very best of Parma's traditions: from the renowned Spalla di San Secondo to the prized Fortanina wine, two outstanding specialities that embody the authentic character of this Emilia-Romagna region. For five days, from August 28th to September 1st, 2026, the historic town centre transforms into a vibrant stage where gastronomy, culture and entertainment come together in perfect harmony. A rich and varied programme with something for everyone: while the Luna Park welcomes families with children, the stages host live music and DJ sets spanning boogie woogie, rock, blues and singer-songwriter performances, culminating in a special tribute to Cesare Cremonini. Meanwhile, Via Roma and Via Garibaldi come alive with craft markets and spaces showcasing traditional crafts, inviting visitors to discover the area's creative heritage. The Fiera d'Agosto is the perfect opportunity to savour authentic Parmesan cuisine, join children's workshops and explore local history through guided tours and a collective art exhibition in the evocative setting of the Rocca fortress.
