La Festa del Pinolo (Pine Nut Festival)

Bobbio welcomes back one of the most anticipated summer events of the Piacenza region in August: the Festa del Pinolo, which will enliven the charming Piazza XXV Aprile on August 1st and 2nd, 2026 for two unforgettable evenings. An unmissable opportunity to rediscover one of the most representative dishes of Bobbio's culinary tradition, prepared by local chefs with the care and passion of those who know the secrets of the recipe inside out. Pine nuts, the true stars of the festival, will be offered in different versions: from the classic plain dish to the more refined pairing with mushrooms, to satisfy all palates. But the festival is not just traditional cuisine: alongside typical specialties you will also find tempting skewers, fried gnocchi, juicy hamburgers and crispy fries, not forgetting the desserts that will end each evening on a sweet note. All washed down with selected wines or flowing icy beer. The atmosphere is that authentic to village festivals: colorful market stalls, live music that enlivens the square with local artists, DJ sets and shows that will entertain young and old well into the evening.
