Piadiniamo transforms the historic center of Savignano sul Rubicone into an open-air village dedicated to celebrating piadina romagnola. Renowned as one of the largest events celebrating this iconic flatbread, the festival honors Romagna's signature culinary treasure while showcasing local cultural roots, craftsmanship, and gastronomic traditions. At the heart of the celebration are traditional piadina kiosks serving both classic recipes and creative modern takes, paired with the finest local ingredients. This culinary journey is enriched with hands-on cooking workshops, educational trails tracing the history of Romagna's famous bread, meet-and-greets with local producers and food experts, and themed masterclasses. Complementing the food is a vibrant entertainment lineup: the historic streets come alive with roaming shows, street performers, vintage games, traditional craft workshops, and vintage displays of bicycles, cars, and antique tractors, alongside the folkloric parade of the Sciucarèn (traditional whip-crackers).
