Fiera Mondiale Campionaria del Peperoncino (World Chilli Pepper Trade Fair)

The Fiera Mondiale Campionaria del Peperoncino returns to liven up the historic center of Rieti for its 15th edition. Organized by the Rieti Cuore Piccante association in collaboration with the Accademia Italiana del Peperoncino and various institutional bodies, the event unfolds over ten days dedicated to all things spicy and to local and international culinary excellence. The exhibition route features around 200 stands and hosts an extensive pepper exhibition showcasing hundreds of chilli pepper varieties from all over the world, alongside the participation of international delegations. The programme is enhanced with live cooking shows, thematic conferences, guided tastings, and in-depth workshops. There is no shortage of entertainment either: every evening, the stage set up in Piazza Mazzini hosts free shows and concerts featuring artists from the Italian music scene, organized in partnership with radio broadcasters.
