Sagra del Cinghiale di Campo Ligure (Wild Boar Festival)

The Sagra del Cinghiale di Campo Ligure returns for its 28th edition with four days celebrating Ligurian tradition. From August 7-10, 2026, the Campo Ligure Sports Palace transforms into a stage where local gastronomy meets live music, creating a festive atmosphere that honours one of the region's most iconic dishes. Culinary excellence takes centre stage: all traditional wild boar recipes come exclusively from certified farms, guaranteeing quality and authenticity. The varied menu features specialities ranging from cured meats and wild boar ravioli to taglierini, polenta, roasts, sausages and hearty stews—a genuine journey through Ligurian culinary traditions. But there's more than just food: a quality musical programme spans four days of entertainment with tribute bands. Friday, August 8 opens with Civil War Guns N'Roses Tribute, Saturday, August 9 features DJ Gagge's set alongside a vintage tractor rally at 10:30, a traditional grain threshing reenactment at 17:00, and a roaming concert at 21:00. Sunday, August 10 sees Le Bimbe di Erode perform, while the festival closes on Monday, August 11 with band Keyser Soze. Since the entire event is indoors at the Sports Palace, entertainment is guaranteed regardless of weather.
