Olio Terra d'Otranto DOP is an extra virgin olive oil with an intense fruity flavor, produced from the millennia-old olive groves of Salento. The main cultivar is Ogliarola Salentina, which produces an oil with a characteristic golden yellow color with greenish reflections and a balanced flavor with notes of almond and artichoke.
Salento is home to some of Europe's most ancient olive trees, true natural monuments with gnarled and majestic trunks. Harvesting takes place between October and December, with pressing completed within 24 hours.
