Mare e Miniere a Porto Scuso

Mare e Miniere 2026 returns to Portoscuso to celebrate Sardinia's cultural roots. Now in its nineteenth edition, this traveling festival offers a unique opportunity to rediscover the island's linguistic, historical, and musical heritage. From June 23 to 28, the picturesque port will host a dynamic event that blends tradition with contemporary expression, featuring prominent artists from Sardinia's vibrant music scene and beyond. The program is rich and diverse: free concerts, thematic seminars, theatrical performances, and film screenings will take place across multiple venues, culminating in a special concert at the historic Su Pranu tuna fishery. Headliners include launeddas master Luigi Lai, Elena Ledda, and Mauro Palmas, who also serves as the festival's musical director. The lineup showcases the Luisa Briguglio quartet, Magalì Sare, Manel Fortià, and the theatrical production ‹La radio di Camilleri›, plus the screening of ‹Su Maistu› by Gianfranco Cabiddu.
