Marina Café Noir returns in grand style with its XXIV edition, but this time with a fascinating surprise: the historic festival of Sardinian cultural summer is leaving the traditional venues of the regional capital to move to Elmas, precisely to Giliácquas on the shores of the Santa Gilla lagoon. A change of location that perfectly reflects this year's theme, 'Changing Course', an invitation to reflect on the great transformations of our time through literature, music and performing arts. From June 19 to 21, 2026, the ancient fishing village transforms into an open-air laboratory where ideas, music and words come together. The cultural association Chourmo has curated an extraordinary program that brings together some of the most important names in Italian and international narrative: from Maurizio de Giovanni to Francesca Mannocchi, from Jón Kalman Stefánsson to Adania Shibli, alongside acclaimed musicians such as Willie Peyote, Motta and Tonino Carotone. Marina Café Noir once again confirms its identity as a festival capable of weaving together different languages and bringing literature outside conventional spaces, creating a unique atmosphere where the audience can discover new perspectives on the present through readings, original performances and direct encounters with the guests.
