The Time in Jazz 2026 Preview represents an extraordinary opportunity to immerse yourself in world-class jazz, transforming Berchidda into a capital of musical excellence for three unforgettable days. This special edition, from June 19 to 21, is entirely dedicated to Miles Davis and his masterpiece 'Kind of Blue', celebrating the centennial of the birth of the genius who revolutionized jazz worldwide. Conceived and directed by trumpeter Paolo Fresu in his native town, the event sets the tone for the spirit of the 39th edition of the festival, offering a rich programme of encounters, concerts and original productions featuring masters of the Italian drums such as Gegè Munari and Gianni Cazzola, alongside distinguished musicians including Antonello Salis, Casadilego and Gaia Cuatro. The garden of Sa Casara, a historic former cheese factory now home to the festival, transforms into a grand stage where jazz music converses with literature, visual arts and innovative musical productions by the Insulae Lab centre. The evenings come alive with the traditional late-night DJ sets by Dj Cris, creating a unique atmosphere that blends tradition and contemporary spirit.
