Domos Abbeltas a Luras

Domos Abbeltas, whose name in the Gallurese language means 'Open Houses', is a unique event that transforms the historic centre of Luras into a captivating showcase of Gallura's cultural identity. Over the weekend of 19–21 June 2026, the ancient homes of the village open their courtyards to visitors, creating an immersive journey through the traditions, flavours, and crafts of a community rich in history. The event represents a rare opportunity to discover how the Gallurese territory successfully combines the preservation of cultural roots with contemporary development. The three-day programme offers diverse experiences: from Friday's interactive talk on territorial development, to Saturday's beating heart of the event with workshops on ancient crafts and traditional culinary preparations, through to Sunday's appointments dedicated to archaeology and musical traditions. A prominent role is given to food and wine, with the 'Wine Alley' showcasing tastings from local wineries and the temporary wine bar of the National Association of Wine Tasters, underlining how viticulture has become an increasingly strategic sector for the local economy.
