Artes et Sonos a Ruinas

The XXIX Meeting Artes et Sonos 2026 returns to Ruinas to celebrate emerging musical talent from Sardegna. Scheduled for August 18–19, this event stands as one of Italy's premier showcases for young bands seeking recognition in the national music scene. Organised by the Artes et Sonos Cultural Association with support from Ruinas municipal administration, the meeting draws on a rich tradition of cultural promotion in the territory. Through an innovative format combining online selection and live performances, the meeting offers musicians the chance to perform before an enthusiastic audience and a panel of independent music industry experts. The event welcomes bands across genres—from rock, indie, and alternative to pop, electronic, and experimental sounds—seeking authentic and original projects. The festival unfolds in two phases: the semi-final on August 18 will select the finest performances at Ruinas' evocative venue, while the final on August 19 will crown the winners. What truly sets Artes et Sonos apart is the grand prize: €1,000 in music store vouchers and, most importantly, direct access to the MEI (Meeting degli Indipendenti) in Faenza, one of Italy's most prestigious independent music festivals.
