Festival della Bottarga a Cabras (Bottarga Festival in Cabras)

For over twenty years, the Festival della Bottarga has been one of the most famous food and wine events in the Sinis area, celebrating mullet bottarga (cured fish roe)—the iconic culinary treasure of Cabras. Organized under the patronage of the Municipality of Cabras in collaboration with local organizations and associations, the festival highlights Sardinian lagoon traditions and culture. The 2026 edition spans three days dedicated to local gastronomic excellence, featuring tastings, in-depth workshops on regional products, and thematic discussions. The schedule also includes meetings with renowned chefs, alongside cultural and entertainment events designed to showcase and celebrate the rich Sinis territory.
