Desmontegada ad Anterivo (Alpine Cattle Drive)

The Desmontegada in Anterivo celebrates the traditional transhumance and the return of livestock from high mountain pastures back down to the village. This event is a classic fixture of South Tyrolean rural and Alpine culture. The procession of cattle begins around 12:00 PM from the Malga Fraul area, with arrival in the heart of Anterivo scheduled for approximately 12:30 PM. Following the arrival of the herd, the day continues with community festivities organized in the square outside the local cultural hall.
