Fiera di Santa Caterina (Saint Catherine's Fair)

The Fiera di Santa Caterina brings vibrant energy to the historic center and the ancient Borgo di Santa Caterina in Rovereto, standing out as one of Trentino's oldest traditional fairs. Welcoming the arrival of the winter season, the event fills the city streets with over a hundred stalls featuring typical local products, artisanal crafts, and retail goods, alongside stands hosted by local volunteer groups. Throughout the day, visitors can enjoy puppet shows staged in Piazzetta Santa Caterina in collaboration with the Municipality of Rovereto, and taste free roasted chestnuts offered by the Associazione Tutela Marroni di Castione, accompanied by live music from the Banda di Lizzana and majorette performances. Completing the festivities, a rich motor exhibition stretches along Via Dante and Via Tartarotti, showcasing everything from modern electric vehicles to vintage cars, motorbikes, classic Vespas, and historical models from the Fiat Club 500.
