In Santa Valburga, a hamlet of Ultimo, the unique 'Gare di sci alla vecchia maniera' (Old-Fashioned Ski Races) comes to life. Hosted at the Ski School Center and across the Schwemmalm ski area, this event is part of the celebrations marking the resort's 50th anniversary. The initiative pays homage to skiing history by inviting participants to don vintage ski attire and dust off traditional gear, including classic wooden skis. Between turns and folkloric moments, the day revives the charm of slopes from yesteryear in a festive atmosphere of nostalgia, fun, and community spirit.
