The Mercatino di Natale al Castello di Avio returns to enliven the evocative medieval manor managed by FAI in Sabbionara d'Avio. From November 28 to December 27, 2026, the ancient fortified complex welcomes visitors into an exceptional historical setting, transforming into a festive gathering spot dedicated to holiday traditions and local heritage. Inside the Baronial Palace and throughout its courtyard, numerous exhibitors from Vallagarina and upper Verona showcase their finest goods. The food and wine offerings feature regional specialties such as cheeses, cured meats, wines, craft beers, pastries, and preserves, alongside handcrafted creations made of wood, wax, ceramics, and textiles. The experience is enriched with guided tours of the fortress's frescoed halls, choral concerts, and family-friendly activities. To facilitate visitor access, dedicated parking areas for cars and tour buses as well as a shuttle bus service departing from the town center are provided.
