Move It for a Reason

Move It for a Reason is an event dedicated to solidarity and wellness that transforms a simple walk into an act of love for those in need. On the evening of August 19, 2026, the enchanting lakeside promenade of Riva del Garda comes alive with participants walking together 5 km in a non-competitive, convivial and inclusive atmosphere to Porto San Nicolò. Every step taken becomes a concrete contribution to the Xorladi center in Ghana, a facility that welcomes and supports children and young people with disabilities, thanks to the support of the Noiperloro association. The event perfectly combines movement, social connection, and solidarity, starting at 8:30 PM on an evening that blurs the boundaries between sport and charity. With a participation fee of just €15 for the official t-shirt, anyone can join this important mission, regardless of their fitness level. The event is an opportunity to rediscover the pleasure of outdoor movement, surrounded by Trentino's enchanting landscape. After the walk-run, the evening continues with festive moments and social gathering: the Willin' Fools band will bring Irish music melodies to create the perfect atmosphere, while food and drinks transform the event into a celebration of community and generosity.
