Organised by the Corpo Bandistico di Riva del Garda – a historic cultural institution that has long promoted initiatives combining tradition and innovation – the festival reaffirms its commitment to celebrating games as a tool for social connection and cultural growth, with activities designed for families, enthusiasts and curious minds of all ages. Among the prestigious guests is Alessandro Sisti, legendary creator of the PK series, who will bring a special exhibition celebrating 30 years of this Italian cultural icon. Alongside him, the festival hosts distinguished figures from the national gaming scene, who will lead meetings, book signings and exclusive workshops. Board game enthusiasts can test their skills in tournaments organised in collaboration with Busa Play, with prizes and recognition for winners, while digital gaming fans will find a dedicated e-sports area with professional gaming stations and live competitions. Partnerships with the Civic Library and the MAG – Alto Garda Museum ensure workshops and labs that combine entertainment and learning, with sessions on game design, interactive storytelling and video game history. The highlight of the event is the special concert on Saturday 16 August: the Corpo Bandistico di Riva del Garda presents ‹Movie Night: A Soundtrack Live Experience – Japan Fantasy›, a musical journey through the soundtracks of the most celebrated anime, from Studio Ghibli masterpieces to the music of Final Fantasy, Nintendo and Dragon Ball. A unique experience combining live music, projections and immersive visuals.
